The gorgeous beach near Alaior, on the Balearic Island of Menorca, is known as Macarella and is an idyllic cove of white sand and turquoise waters.

Macarella is an idyllic cove with fine, white sand, where the sea is a calm pool of turquoise water. Sheltered by hills covered in pine trees and holm oaks, it is often warm enough to sunbathe, even in winter.
